Fethiye - Marmaris - Fethiye Itinerary
Day 1
Fethiye
Today is the start of your gulet holidays in Turkey. You will check into your gulet in the afternoon around 16:00 pm. Once you are on board you will be given information and settled into your cabins. Tonight you will be staying in port in Fethiye Harbour so you have the afternoon and evening to explore the town. You may like to visit the Lycian tombs high in the cliff faces for sunset or enjoy the shopping in the old town. Dinner will be served onboard and then you may like to go back into town to explore the nightlife of Fethiye or enjoy a quiet drink on the boat. There is also the option to anchor overnight at one of the nearby bays.
Day 2
Fethiye to Aga Limani
After breakfast, you will head out of Fethiye Harbour and head along the coast towards Tersane Island (shipyard), where you will have lunch. The island gets its name from housing an ancient shipyard here back in ancient times. So today you can still see the remnants of the Roman and Greek shipyard along the beach. You will get your first chance of a swim into the Mediterranean here before you will anchor down in the natural bay of Aga Limani Bay for the night.
Day 3
Aga Limani to Ekincik
Today will be an early start to head for the beautiful Ekincik area. On arrival, you will have the choice to either stay on board and enjoy swimming and relaxing or you may be interested in the optional excursion we can help organise here for you going to Dalyan and Kaunos.
Optional Tour: Dalyan and Mud Baths
Kaunas is where you can take a riverboat trip to see ancient Lycian tombs carved into the cliffs and get to explore the ancient city. At Dalyan, you can take a mud bath in the natural springs and also get to relax on Turtle Beach, where Caretta turtles (loggerhead turtles) lay their eggs each year. The choice is yours.
Once everyone is back on board you will spend the night at a nearby bay.
Day 4
Ekincik to Marmaris
After breakfast, it's time to cruise onto Turunc Buku also known as the beautiful Cennet Island (Paradise) Here you can enjoy the pristine waters where there will be plenty of time for swimming and a leisurely lunch. In the afternoon you will then head into Marmaris harbour. Marmaris is one of the busiest little coastal towns and has the largest marina in southern Turkey. You will have time before dinner is served on board to explore the old town or check out the bazaars for a spot of shopping. After dinner, you may like to check out the nightlife of Marmaris or enjoy a drink in one of the many cafes and bars that line the marina.
Day 5
Marmaris to Semizce
After breakfast in Marmaris Harbour, you will then cruise off towards Kumlubuk Bay. Here you can take a swim and get to enjoy one of the largest stretches of beach on the peninsula. Lunch will be served before you cruise onto the uninhabited bay of Semizce where we will spend the night.
Day 6
Semizce to Bedri Rahmi or Sarsala Bay
Early this morning you will set off for the beautiful Gocek Bay area. Along the way, you will stop at Kuyruk Burnu for breakfast, before cruising to Batik Hamam Bay. At this bay, you can still find ancient Roman ruins scattered around for you to swim to and explore. The afternoon will be spent at either Bedri Rahmi or Sarsala Bay. Bedri Rahmi Bay is famous for the painted fish on the rock by the very man himself - Bedri Rahmi - who along with his friends is responsible for discovering this beautiful turquoise coastline for us all to enjoy today. You will anchor down in the afternoon in either of these bays to enjoy a sunset swim or drinks on board.
Day 7
Bedri Rahmi or Sarsala Bay to Samanlik Bay
Today is your last day out on the beautiful waters of the Turquoise coastline. After breakfast and a lazy start to the day, you will head back into the Fethiye Gulf.
