Guvercin Island
Guvercin Island
This tiny little island is located just off of the Mediterranean coast of southern Turkey very close to the town of Kas and even though it is a little rock in the ocean, it is stunning the visibility of the water depth is stunning many boats come to anchor for the night but most come to see the marble sculpture of a shark that sits on the sea bed. All of the islands and bays here were used by Pirates in the 17th and 18th century and definitely worth sailing to are the bays of Yaglica and Kocakari.
