Looking directly down onto the island on the western shores there is a horsehead-shaped cove this is Karalos Bay with high rock walls all around protecting it from winds this secluded bay is perfect. The swimming and snorkeling here are fantastic as the waters are warm and the visibility very good. Slightly to the south are the Kara islands and to the north just on the mainland of Turkey is the rustic Ucagiz Village which leads to Simena castle.
