      If you want to join one of the most popular things to do along the Mediterranean coastline, jump on board a week-long Turkish Gulet Cruise departing Fethiye. You will spend seven days and six nights taking in fantastic sights while visiting beautiful bays for swimming and snorkelling on this unforgettable Blue Cruise Turkey journey.

      You will depart Fethiye bound for Butterfly Valley, where it is time for your first swim and the start of your gulet holiday experience in the Mediterranean, or you can hike into the valley to see a waterfall. 

      Afterwards, you will cruise past Europe’s most photographed beach, Oludeniz, before anchoring behind the Blue Lagoon. Your first night on board will be spent at St Nicholas Island, where you can enjoy the sunset through the ancient ruins.

      On day 2, you will cruise to Kas, a great place for shopping or stocking up on snacks. The next few days will be spent in the Kekova region, where there is plenty to see, including the famous Sunken City of Kekova and Simena Castle. On day 4, you will arrive at Demre Harbour, where some travellers on the shorter cruise will disembark. Here you can visit the ruins of Myra before returning to the boat. New passengers will then join the journey as the voyage back to Fethiye begins.

      On this cruise, you will see the same major highlights twice, which is always worthwhile, while also discovering different bays for swimming and overnight stays along the route. You can also take part in optional activities such as paragliding or diving.

      Check-in for the Turkish Gulet Cruise departing Fethiye takes place from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. You will receive the final time and meeting details before departure. Following check-in at the office, you will head to the harbour for a briefing, meet the crew, and depart from Fethiye. Your first stop is Butterfly Valley (Kelebekler Vadisi), where you will enjoy your first lunch, take a refreshing swim, and hike up to the waterfall if you wish.


      Butterfly Valley is a stunning hidden gorge surrounded by steep cliffs reaching up to 350 metres high. Accessible only by boat, it is named after the many butterfly species found there, especially the Jersey Tiger. The valley features a pristine beach, turquoise waters, and a small stream leading to waterfalls, making it a popular spot for swimming, hiking, and exploring a natural, untouched landscape. During the walk, you may encounter a variety of moths and butterflies depending on the time of year.


      Oludeniz, home to the world-famous Blue Lagoon, is often referred to as the most photographed beach in Europe. With its calm turquoise waters framed by lush green mountains, you will enjoy swimming, paragliding, and some of Turkey’s most iconic coastal scenery along the Mediterranean coast during your Blue Cruise Turkey journey.


      Optional Activity: Paragliding Blue Lagoon

      In Oludeniz, you have the option to go paragliding. The flight lasts around 30–45 minutes, taking off from Babadag Mountain about 2,000 metres above sea level before gliding over Oludeniz Beach and the Blue Lagoon.

      On your first evening, you will anchor at St Nicholas Island, famous for its ancient ruins and one of Turkey’s most spectacular sunsets. Its picturesque harbour and 2,400-year-old marble streets invite leisurely exploration, with artisan boutiques and shops famous for handmade jewellery and local crafts. Just beyond the town, the Antiphellos Amphitheatre offers sweeping sea views, perfectly blending history, culture, and the relaxed coastal atmosphere that makes Kas truly unforgettable.

      In Kas, you will have the option to go scuba diving. Both certified and beginner divers are welcome to join.       After a leisurely breakfast in the peaceful surroundings of Kekova, you will set sail towards the intriguing Sunken City of Kekova, one of the most fascinating highlights of a Blue Cruise Turkey journey.


      This remarkable Lycian settlement dates back more than 2,400 years and slipped beneath the sea after a series of earthquakes between the 2nd and 8th centuries. As you glide along the shoreline, you will see ancient walls, staircases, and harbours lying just below the surface, framed by the dazzling turquoise waters of Kekova Bay along the Mediterranean coast.


      Your journey then brings you to the picturesque village of Kalekoy Village (ancient Simena), also home to Simena Castle. With fewer than 50 houses and accessible only by boat or on foot, the village offers a glimpse into a quieter coastal life. Along the waterfront, striking Lycian sarcophagi rise from the shallows, silent reminders of a civilisation that thrived here centuries ago. Wandering the narrow bougainvillaea-lined paths of the village, you will soon reach Simena Castle, a medieval fortress built upon Lycian foundations. From its hilltop vantage point, breathtaking views unfold across the Kekova archipelago, dotted with countless islets and bays.       Today is an easy start. You will begin the morning with a refreshing swim before enjoying another delicious breakfast on board during your Blue Cruise Turkey journey along the Mediterranean coast.  After breakfast, the gulet will cruise towards Demre, where you will moor before lunchtime. It is time to bid farewell to fellow passengers who are completing the four-day cruise and welcome new arrivals joining the trip.  During this time, you will cruise to Karemlik Turtles Bay, where you may see Caretta turtles while snorkelling and relaxing in the clear waters.
