Firnaz Bay
Sailing off the southern coast of Turkey, Firnaz Bay is a short boat ride from Kalkan. It is also a popular spot among divers and snorkelers. The turquoise waters are so clear that once the waves from your cruise settle down you might be able to look down to the corals, and give you the impression as if you are looking through glass! This is the reason why this particular bay is a popular scuba diving spot. The water is calm and there is high visibility making it a joy to explore the natural treasures beneath the water’s surface. This diving spot is suitable for all ranges of experience. If it’s your first try dive, there is nothing to worry but wonder what fishes you will get to see. The marine life in Firnaz Bay include barracudas, octopuses, sea turtles, starfish, bonito, rainbow wrasse, anemones and even antique amphoras. Oh, and the curious school of smaller fish that will swim near you.
There is a small beach that you can swim up to but if you are looking for some beach time take your blue cruise down to Kaputas Beach. Or if you want to immerse yourself with the ruins of Lycia you can visit Antiphellos Ancient City and Patara Ancient City.
